Arrival

Well we’ve been here in Edmonton for 1 week today and what a week it’s been! The flight was mostly uneventful, just a long 32 hours! Ian did have some trouble getting through US customs, something to do with similarities to a ’person of interest’!

We moved into our Condo in the downtown on Tuesday. It’s just fabulous. Not huge, but terrific views over the River Valley and the Telus sporting field. It’s no good if you don’t like coffee though - the smell of the Starbucks Coffee on the ground floor permeates through the whole building!

We are slowly getting used to nightfall not being until ~10pm, (and rising at about 4am) but we have 7 more weeks yet until the summer solstice so we are seriously thinking of getting curtains for the bedrooms!! We’ve feasted on salmon most nights – absolutely delicious – and soooo cheap!
